Happy Birthday, Papa

Today is 16th April. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PAPA!!

I think papa has enjoyed the birthday celebration we held for him earlier. We truly enjoyed it as well. Heez~~ It's been quite a while since we last have a family dinner/ outing. Somemore, this time round it was a even bigger gathering. In all, there was 7 of us. =)

We have a great dinner at 'Dian Xiao Er Restaurant' @ the newly opened AMK Hub. Food was good, and of course, the company was great! We had an enjoyable time eating and chit-chatting and the dinner was ended with singing a B'day song and cake-cutting for papa. May all your wishes come true, Papa! After dinner, we went to shop around at AMK Hub. It was only my 2nd time to this place, but compared to my 1st visit, many more shops have opened. The place was pretty crowded as well. I guess it's now the new hangout place for AMK-landers on weekends. Haha~~ Although we didn't go anywhere far, I am still very happy today, coz it was like a big family outing. I hope we can do it more often!

Back home, received a phone call from my cousin saying that my aunt has gone missing. Sigh... My family, especially my mum is worried sick now. Hope my aunt will be found soon!!

Phantom of the Opera

The musical, The Phantom of the Opera, has been in town since late March and I finally got the chance to watch it today. Haha~~ We actually bought the tickets some time back in Oct or Nov last year and finally we've watched it. All I can say about this musical is IT IS SIMPLY SPECTACULAR!

I was truly amazed by the way the stage has been done. The rate at which they changed the backdrop was really amazing. Everything was really good. From the props, costumes, singing & acting. It's really "wow"! What's more, we even got to see the chandelier came crashing down. So scared that it would hit us as we were sitting right below it. But got to admit that we really got very good seats. Had a good view of everything that's happening on the stage. It's really worth the ticket price, no regrets! Heez~~

Anyone who has yet catch this fantastic musical should watch it real soon!! =)

Start of another long weekend!

Yeah!! My long weekend is here again! I guess this is going to be the 1st sentence for my blog for the subsequent weeks. Haha!! Though this week is only a 4-day work week for me, time passed so slowly. At last, RH is back from her honeymoon! Back to full team!! But Mon's meeting with boss was like full of sarcasm from him. He himself admitted as well. Sigh... For the past few weeks, I simply feel sian, lack of motivation to work on my stuff. I thought it was my own problem, probably something that was affecting me & my mood somehow. But then, had a chat with RH yest and realised that she has the same feeling, even though she's just back from a holiday. Yah, shouldn't she be feeling fresh & recharged after a good 3 weeks break? Yet she feels just as low morale as I am now. Hmm....

I managed to finish a book called 'The Present' just a few days back. Quite an interesting book, talking about how one should focus on the present, learn from the past and prepare for the future. Yah, think I should be like the person in the book - find a quiet & peaceful place to reflect on my life! Haha~~ Actually I always wanna do that. To be alone for a few days, to clear my thoughts as well as to rethink about my life.

Ok, enough of my moodiness. Haha~~

My Long Weekend! Good Friday!

A public holiday is finally here! It's Good Friday, so it means it's a long weekend! The last one was CNY if I'm not wrong, rite? Anyway, from this coming week onwards, for every single week of April I'll have long weekend! Heez...

So my long weekend started on Thu evening with my usual gym session. This time round I attended both the combat class as well as the sculpt/abs class. This is my 2nd time attending the sculpts/abs class and it was still as crazy as the previous one I've attended. I would say that the class was tiring, but also fun. At the end of the class I just don't feel like doing anything... Haha

Got up early on Friday morning thou it's a public holiday. Haha!! Well, need to have a hearty breakfast before attending the Good Friday Special Class - 2hrs of combat! Yah, with <24hrs of rest, we are back to gym again. I think we are getting so overdosed by gym classes now! Haha~~ But it's definitely fun! Yeah, had a good workout before going for a good meal. Heez.. Then someone needed a change of image to meet darling the next day, so we went to a nearby salon. And the end product? No worries, it looks good! Haha~~ Did some shopping after that and got a piggy t-shirt. Haha~~ Thanks for the present! Really like it! But why pick the pigs in the 1st place? I look like one meh? ahaha.. A pretty rush day. Went back home to drop my gym stuff & shopping bag before going out to meet LPP they all for movie.

Went for another 2hrs of gym yesterday. My bones are shattering soon. 3 x 2hrs of gym just within these few days. Haha!! So no gym today. My body needs a break as well. Heez~~ Anyway, quite happy this weekend coz I met up with GY yest to get my bus tix to Penang already. Yeah!! I've gone into another shopping spree again & used my voucher on swimwear & a top. Haha!! Our day was completed with a sinful indulge (on desserts!) at our favourite jap restaurant.

Today I finally get to meet up BZ & WS again. Think the last time we 3 met up was before CNY? Although there was just the 3 of us at ktv today since Cat couldn't make it at the last min, we still had a great session. Heez~~ But seems like you gals have much more complaints about your job than I do. Haha~~ Yah, hope that you can find a better job soon. :)

Monday's here again. My project team is back to full force! =)

Feeling Sian...

This week my boss is not around, my work partner is not around as well. One is on holiday while the other is on honeymoon. So good! But I felt really bored at work. Not that I don't have things to do, but it just seems to me that what I'm doing now is not the priority of the project since boss didn't even bother to set a deadline for it and has not been chasing me for the results. Furthermore, since now he's not around, I can simply slack. Haha!! But somehow, I dunno if it's bcoz of the project I'm working on now or is it that I've been on this job for 2.5 years already, now I just lack the zest which I used to have. Have I begin to grow sick of the job? To a certain extent, yes, sometimes I just feel that I'm a "highly-paid production worker" where I just follow the instructions given by my boss and produce the compounds he wants. Yah, the lack of qualification and experience simply leave us with little chance to participate in project discussions, etc. Arghhhh!!! Anyway, just hope that my present project will pick up its pace soon and my motivation will return soon. Really looking forward to my short trip at the end of the month! Hope to get recharged after the trip! =)

Did something which I wanna do quite some time ago...

At last this morning I managed to return something which I've been holding on to for a year already. Of course I did not do this personally and had to trouble a frd to do so. Really thanks this frd for helping me. After returning the item to its owner, I couldn't help but asked myself, "Does this indicate that we have reached the end of our frdship already?" I really dunno. There are many things which I always hope that I can let go of more easily. But I realise that it's usually difficult. A couple of days back I even dreamt of receiving a call from this old frd. Maybe I'm just thinking too much already. Anyway, now whatever that should be returned to its rightful owner has been returned. Probably this will mark a full stop now. I don't want to think too much about the issue anymore and I guess I should just move on with my life now. :)

Clubbing Nite!

Yesterday morning's sun was strong! So glad that I was on leave and so I managed to swim on a weekday morning. So happy and felt really satisfied after the swim. Yah, thou I gotta admit that I'm a lousy swimmer, I really enjoy soaking in water. Heez~~

Activities for the day were already planned. I've already made an appointment to do my hair before meeting PW group & some of my colls & frds @ 'Clinic'. But in the end when I got to the salon, I sat down for less than 5 mins and walked out of the salon. Haha~~ Yah, due to some promotions the shop has which will only commence in April, I was advised to go back in April (which is just like 1-2 days later). That left me with 4hrs of rotting time. Sigh... But I decided to do some window-shopping and keep a lookout for my frd's bday present as well to spend my 4hrs. Heez~~ Didn't buy anything, but sort of found the present for my frd. Haha!!

In the evening, managed to meet up some of them for a quick dinner 1st before proceeding to 'Clinic' to meet the rest. Well, it's 'Clinic' is a bar not one that you go & see doctor, ok? Haha!! Although you can still find doctors and nurses there, but the doctors there are quack doctors lo. Heez~~ On the overall, it looks like an interesting place on the outside, but in fact nothing much in there. But of course they have special drinks there which looked quite interesting (in drips & syringes!) though we didn't get the chance to try. Wow, can't believe that it's such a small world! LN actually knows Glad & her gang of frds!! Haha~~ Complicated network of frds!! We had a fun time at 'Clinic' playing some games before proceeding to MOS. Well, over at MOS... hmm...a little boring. Still prefer Zouk Mambo afterall. Haha~~ After that went for supper with some of them before procceding home at ard 4am. Oopz... I was being locked out of the house! After much phone-calling & banging on the door, I managed to wake my sis up. Haha!! Otherwise I gotta sleep outside my house already.

So tired!! But I'm heading for gym soon!!! :)

Mid-Week!

Yeah! Tmr is the last working day of the week! Heez~~ Cos Fri will be on leave again. Well, gotta clear my leave by end of April. Still got 4 more days to clear. But I've already thought of how I'm gonna clear them. Haha!!

It's been a relaxed week @ work as bossy has just left for Bali without leaving much work for me to do! Haha~~ Think he's already in R&R mood already so can't be bothered with me lately. RH not ard to talk to me in lab coz she's on honeymoon, bossy's not giving me work to do. So bored!!!

Anyway, went out with Glad, Jo & LPP after work yesterday. A pretty last min decision coz my tuition was cancelled at the last min again. Haiz... Always like that! Anyway, so the 4 of us went to collect the farewell present for SR before going to Orchard to get some gift vouchers for her as well. Tmr's her last day, wish her well. :) Dinner was at 'Sun & Moon Jap Restaurant'. Food was a little pricey but pretty good. Thou what I've ordered wasn't really that filling. Heez~~ Had a great time gossiping & planning for more activities together. Yah, all Glad's ideas! Haha

Today's tuition was cancelled as well, so hit for the gym alone. Hmm...was kinda of cheated coz I went into the Step II class instead of the Step/Hi-Lo class. The steps are so confusing!!! U know, I've actually attended 2 Step class before and for both, I surrendered in <10mins after the class commenced. But this time round, I persevere & stayed till the end. Thou most of the time during the class I was lost and just stood there. Haha~~ But it's a fun class!! Heez~~

Yeah! Parents & bro are back from M'sia! This ends my maid's life, I HOPE!! Haha!!

A EAT-ALOT Wkend!

It's time for my weekly updates again! Now my muscles are aching. Exercise for 4 consecutive days this week! Thu was combat class, Fri was pump & combat, sat was combat again (3 consecutive days of it!) and today went blading and jogging. A crazily exercising week but I simply love it! Haha!!

Think I've been on a binge for these few days. Really ate alot leh. Getting scary...how come I'm eating so much huh? Isit becoz of the amount of exercise I've been doing? Hmm... But still, I felt very satisfied to be able to eay my favourite bbq fish after my Nike plus experience just now. Haha~~ I've been craving for it since a few days back. Heez~~

By the way, yah, did the Nike plus experience with LLT just now. It's about a newly launched product by Apple, where all you have to do is to attach a sensor to the Nike runnig shoes, and by having a receiver attached to your ipod nano, the sensor can communicate with your ipod. It can then tell you how far you've run, how much calories you've burnt, etc. So interesting, rite? I quite like the running shoes. Very light & comfortable! But it costs some $180 lo. Sigh... After the jog, we were made to do some interview. Again, I was tongue-tied. Dunno what to say but luckily got LLT. Haha!!

Such a tiring day...coz b4 my jog I met up with Glad, Jo, LPP & a whole bunch of their frds for blading! Haha~~ So nice, it was a fun & enjoyable session!

Tmr back to work. A 4-day wk! Haha~~

Hmm....So what Am I good at?

Today I've attended an opening talk as well as a lab tour at our rival company, which is also my attachment company. Haha~~ Well, part of the talk was good and their lab was a very well-planned one. Truly impressed by how well-organised their lab facilities are! After that had some discussions with my colls. So if given a choice now, would they want to stay in our present company or to job hop to our rival company? Hmmm.. Indeed, our rival company being the top-ranked pharmaceutical company, it's definitely an attraction to many. But many of us would choose to stay in our present company even though in terms of company benefits & $$, it'll be incomparable to theirs. There's alot more factors which will outweigh the $$ & benefits factors. Hmm... What I've always like about my co is that it's not a commercial lab and the environment her is very conducive for learning. Yes, I always feel so proud that my co's mission is to find medical treatment for the developing countries. Such a novel thing to do, rite? Haha~~ Furthermore, like what I've always said, I have a great bunch of crazy colls! Yah, dunno why, everyone's getting crazier & crazier lately. Haha~~ But we really have lots of fun.

So sometimes, I feel like having a job change, yet I really can't bear to leave my present co. Haha~~

I've always been thinking. So what am I good in? In which field can I excel? I know that in R&D, it's gonna be tough to excel if I just stay on with a degree, I'll wash testtubes for the rest of my life probably. If I go into manufacturing, given my character,I'll probably just die there becoz I know how political it can be. What am I good at? What can I do? Where can I go? Sigh... I need to know myself better, know my strengths (do I have any?), know what I want before I can move any further.

I'm sunburnt & aching all over my body....

Another weekend comes & goes again! But tmr I'll be on leave. Hooray!! Well, I'm still left with 6 days of leave to be cleared by end of next month. So decided to take a break tmr & accompany my mama to shopping. Haha!! Haven brought her out for quite some time already, felt quite bad about it, so time to make up for it! =)

Hmm... have been quite tired & ermm lazy as well to update my blog more often. Haha!! So will be giving a weekly update instead. Heez~~

Tuition was cancelled on Tuesday again! Sigh...sometimes really get quite pissed off about it. Haiz...anyway, in the end I met up with Qing & WPC for dinner @ Orchard. It was raining heavily then & by the time I reached Food Republic, I was half drenched and my jeans weighed tonnes. Sickening...as everywhere was flooded. I think the funny part about the meetup was that someone whom I just met said that I'm cute. Ahaha!! Why am I always associated with the word cute? Hmm...I'm cute meh? I don't think so leh. Even someone burst out into laughter when I said people said I'm cute. Haiz... Why not use the word pretty instead? Wahaha PLS DO NOT PUKE! JUST KIDDING! Haha~~

Decided to skip gym on Friday and in the end accompanied LLT to blood bank for blood donation after which we went to Maxwell market for dinner. Then LLT went crazy over his CD shopping. OMG!!! Yah, CDs & movies are so important to him leh. And lately, concerts as well. Aiyo... Haha!! Immediately after I've reached home, got a call from GY, as she was somewhere near my home. So we met up for supper & chit-chat session. Heez~~ Had a great time talking! Hope you'll get the job soon. Then I'll fly over to US to visit u, ok? Heez~~

Saturday got up early, met up with LLT & friends at Punggol Marina for wakeboarding. I'm now sunburnt & aching all over my body. But it was a fun afternoon! At least I managed to stand up for a while on the wakeboard. LLT, u gotta try harder next time, ok? Haha~~ After a tiring afternoon under the sun, we rewarded ourselves by eating at the seafood restaurant there. Food was good, big crab! Haha~~ But my nose was useless, it's been runny for the whole of yesterday. Sigh... After that, went to play with Oscar for a while before going to catch the movie 'Music & Lyrics'. A movie with nice & simple story! Hugh Grant is great too. =)

Didn't do much today except for catching Disney on Ice at SIS. This year's theme is 'Finding Nemo'. Haha~~ This is one of my favourite Disney cartoon. It was a great performance. Really impressed by their ice skating skills, so cool! After that was home sweet home....

Coming week only gotta work for 4 days. Haha!!

A Happy Weekend!

Oopz! This week is a week which I've burnt a big hole in my pocket coz I've just bought a laptop on Thu. Haha~~ The purchase was easily decided in like 15mins? Impulsive? Ermm...not exactly. Coz I've already eyed on that laptop earlier. Haha~~ But it's just that me being a com idiot need some help & advise. Thanks to LLT for your help! At the end of the day, we bagged home 1 box holding the laptop & a few other big bags full with the freebies. Haha~~ Gotta thank my Titoudao for carrying the stuff for me. =)
Have been quite busy and tired for the last few days to play with my "new toy". Haha~~ Hope to get all softwares and stuff settled soon!

Managed to catch 2 movies this week. One of them is a free movie treat again. Heez~~ This time round I watched 'I'm a Cyborg, but it's ok' with WS. Quite a lame show thou. Maybe it bcoz I'm not a fan of Rain? Haha~~ Also managed to watch 'The Pursuit of Happyness' on Fri nite. It's a meaningful show. So how will you define happiness? Hmm... Earning lots of $$ yet it's a job you don't like? On a job you like & feel satisfied with but it pays u miserably? Sigh...being in a realistic society, I suppose most people's equation for happiness is Money + Material satisfaction = Happiness. That's quite saddening, but then it's the truth, isn't it?

Well, I'm quite happy that my weekends have always been well-spent with family and friends. It always gives me the motivation to get back to work on Monday and of course I'll look forward to the next weekend. Heez~~

Yesterday I've met up with Noorul in the morning to do chemistry. It's great to see that u like the subject so much. Heez~~ But then, don't neglect the other subjects as well, especially your maths & english, ok? After that met up with LLT for our usual Combat class. It's a fun class, especially the part where we have to run in circles. Heez~~ Can feel that my right leg is recuperating well, except for a little pain once in a while. Managed to meet up with Rain finally. Haha~~ Had a good dinner at Soup Restaurant and it so happened that LLT & frds came to the same restaurant as well! LLT power huh? Haha~~ Rain & I couldn't decide which show to watch after dinner, so eventually we ended up chit chatting at Starbucks. Haha~~ Nice catchup with interesting topics to talk about. Haha~~

I've bladed today! So happy!! Coz I've not bladed for >3mths already. Really miss it! Hmm...well, what I like about blading is the ability to go at high speeds and you can feel the wind hitting your face. On top of that you get to see the nice calm sea, feel the sunshine and see groups of people so involved in their activities, be it cycling, blading, picnicking at ECP. How I wish I stay somewhere near ECP. Haha~~

Yes, now the sun is back! Time to hit for outdoor activities again!! =)

It's March!

Another week came & is now gone again! Time really passes so fast, it's now the start of the 3rd month of year 2007 already! But it seems like I've yet to achieve much for the past 2 months. Anyway, work-wise I should be rounding things up for my current project withi this week, which means that I can start on something new & hopefully more interesting and challenging real soon. Looking forward to that!

Another coll has just tendered her resignation. Hmmm...it makes me start to ask myself what I want again. Am I going to continue in this field or should I switch to something else? Or I should further my studies. So what do I want? Well, yah, these questions have been popping up in my brain every now & then but till now I still don't have a definite answer to them. Sigh... Yah yah, I always tell myself that I should stop procrastinating & start have good thoughts about them. Of course gotta be more pro-active in getting things moving! =)

Hmm...dunno if it's becoz of my current project or having stayed in R&D for 2.5 years already, I start to feel abit sian over my job. Or am I just short a good break to get recharged again? hmm... I need a change to break the routine!

Weekly Updates...

It's been another busy week that I'm so short of sleep. But I've just taken a good time a few hours back, so time to blog! Haha =p

This week I only did 1 gym session on sat. Sigh... Skipped Mon's class to visit Glady at the hospital. Poor gal! Kept puking and was hospitalised. Glad that she looks well and infact very talkative during the visit. Hha~~ Hope that she recovers real soon! Work's so boring without her, coz there's no one for me to suan already! Haha~~ I missed Thur's class as well due to OT! Yah, rushing some compound like mad for the last few days, don't even have time for lunch. Got a little pissed off with SH as well. Sigh... Anyway, don't wish to mention about it again. In the end, met up with LLT to watch the crappy movie, 'Norbit', since both of us missed gym & were pissed off with work. Well, actually I'm less pissed off lah. LLT so pissed that he needs his "happy food" but which in the end didn't make him happy. Hhaa~~ So what does it show? U should change your definition/classification of "happy food", ok?

Fri went for a movie marathon. Yah, "forced" to watch 'Dreamgals' again, followed by 'Notes on the Scandal'. Haha~~ well, 'Dreamgals' is a nice show which I didn't regret re-watching, of course! But the overall sound effect wasn't as fantastic as the other time when I watched at The Cathay. As usual, I dozed off at times during the shows. Oopz...sorry, not within my control. The theatre was just too conducive for sleeping? Heez~~ Yes, this reminds me that I've won another pair of movie tix for this coming Tue. Looking forward to it! =)

At last managed to go gym on sat. This is my 1st Combat class since 3 weeks ago? At last I'm back to Combat class! So nice to see the familiar faces, the instructress. Heez~~ Of course now I'm more careful so as not to hurt myself again. Evening had a belated Bday celebration for SQ at Happy Pay Steamboat followed by ktv. This celebration was indeed a big group! 8 of us in total. Hhaa~~ Double of our usual group size! It should be a good sign, isn't it? Most of us had fun. Afterall, it's Qing's b'day, gotta give face & not be a spoil-spot, rite? Heez~~ Of course, since it's our dear gal's B'day, as friends we should do our best to make her happy & make it a memorable (in a good sense, of course! heez~~)celebration for her.

Again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to both SQ & Noorul (both of u are born on the same day)! Hope all your dreams come true!

Today I was basically rotting at home for the entire moring before catch the play 'Titoudao' with LLT. A great show! Very funny, though I didn't understand some of the Teochew spoken but really enjoyed it!

Another week's gone again. Time for bed!! =)

My Second Vertical Marathon

Today I did my second vertical marathon! This time round we participated in the team event and the team members include LLT, SP, CN, bro & I. Yes! 5 of us were in the team named 'Hitch Hiker'! Haha~~ I guess everyone had fun climbing 60 stories of Republic Plaza, with my craziest bro chiong-ing all the way up the 60 floors, leaving we 4 old men & women taking our own sweet time climbing up the steps. Haha~~ Well, my right thigh is still hurting a little, so dun want to strain the muscles too much by climbing too fast as well (excuses! haha~~). Hhaa~~ I hope it won't get worse after today =) Nevertheless, the 4 of us still have the fun & motivation cheering each other, rite? Yes! It doesn't matter how fast or slow we are. At least we completed the marathon, rite? Cheers to all of us! =)

After marathon had a little "celebration" at Sizzler. Haha~~ Nice lunch & nice chat with you guys! Haha~~ It's a tiring day but nice weekend spent.

My 4 days of hols are over just like that?! Sob sob... Back to reality & time to pick up my organic textbook to read now! :'(

Start of my long weekend again!

My long weekend started today, or more precisely, the "celebration" actually started yesterday evening. Haha~~ I was made to postphone my tuition yesterday for the sake of the 3 ladies, Glady, LPP & Jo. But it was a great evening spent with this group of colls having dinner, playing pool and watching movie. I think I totally suck at pool game, but of course after yest's game, think my skills did improve a little. All thanks to Glady & LPP. Heez~~ It was a fun & enjoyable session with the 3 crazy gals! After that, we went on to catch the show, 'The Fountain'. Hmmm... the show has a complex story where Mr Handsome, Hugh Jackman, plays 3 different characters in 3 different time period. Other than the complex story which made me lost at times, somehow I also felt that "something is missing" while watching the show. Hmm...dunno how to express my feelings in words, maybe just too used to your presence and felt strange when you are not there. Haha~~

Today I was woke up at 10am by a sms. Well, actually wanted to continue sleeping but just couldn't get back to sleep. Hhaa~~ Anyway, I was basically bumming around at home the entire morning & early afternoon before joining the 3 gals, TS and Jo's frd at Mind's Cafe for boardgames. Haha~~ So nice to be lazing at a boardgame cafe on a weekday afternoon! Such a luxury!!! Evening we went gym.Yah! AT LAST I GO GYM!!! It's been a good 2 weeks since I last went. Yah, ever since my right leg started to ache, I've not been to gym. So sad... But still, my leg was not ready for the body combat class (I felt so), so I attended the body balance class instead. It's definitely a good start, coz my right knee feels less painful after the class. Quite happy! Hope it recovers soon so that I can start on my body combat and maybe join the rest for VM this Sun, and start blading as well. Yah, today's supposed to be blading day but was changed to boardgaming instead becoz of me. So sorry!

Hmm...sometimes I really think that women are real weird creatures. Mood can change very fast. I remember myself not in a very good mood in the morning, but in the evening my mood seemed to get better. Hhaa~~ Yah, I myself don't even understand why. Haha~~ Hope tmr will be a good day!

Happy PIGGY Year!

My 5 days of holiday just zoomed past without me realising it. Tmr will have to work. But then I'll be on leave on Thu & Fri again! Heez~~

So what have I done for the past few days? CNY eve was of course spent with my family, having reunion dinner & it's... STEAMBOAT! Kind of our "standard" reunion dinner but it's always nice & fun to do it once a yr. Yes, I love it! It's been quite a while since our whole family sit down & have a good meal together. Hope we can do it more often! =)

Day 1 of CNY was spent rotting at home for the entire morning and afternoon and my family went over to my cousin's place in the late afternoon. A nice gathering, met my aunt & cousins, whom I've not seen for quite some time already. Seemed like everyone has aged quite abit. Yah, come to think of it, I'm already in my mid-20s already! Sigh... Day 2 of CNY was probably a "freaking" day for some reasons. Not a freaking day for me thou. Haha~~ But I supposed things turned out quite alrite, rite? Anyway, it was just another day of CNY visiting. But think I ate too much for lunch & suffered from indigestion. In the end I had a bad headache & puked. Felt really terrible then. Luckily after a good sleep last nite, I felt better today, though still suffering from mild diarrhoea. OMG! Am I really so weak? Sigh... :(

Day 3 of CNY, which is today.Had some guests, basically my mum's friend, second aunt, cousin & my dearest niece who came over to my place. Haha~~ So fun to start "cam whoring" with my dear niece. Ahaha~~ Late afternoon I went over to SQ's house for another gathering. Had a fun time as well! Thanks SQ for the invitation & the sumptuous dinner prepared by her mum!

Now coming back... TMR GOTTA WORK! Sigh.... But just for a day & then I'll have a long weekend again! Haha~~

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVE!!! Here comes the start of a long holiday! Yeah!!! My long holiday actually started yesterday and in fact next Thursday & Friday I'll be on leave as well. Haha~~ Then I'm still left with 6 more days of leave to clear by April. :)

Anyway, such a coincidence that BZ & WS both took leave for yest as well. So we 3 gals met up for our last min shopping, so happy that we 3 get to meet up on a weekday afternoon! In the end, only BZ & WS managed to bag something home while I returned home empty-handed. Sigh...didn't managed to find anything I like, so this CNY I'll go visitations with old bottoms. Haha~~
Hmm...BZ said that this year is a lucky year for Sagittarius. I really hope that it's true! Heez~~

Hmm...seems like I'm not into much CNY mood this year. Not that I always feel something during CNY, but this year I really felt NOTHING. Dunno why. Haha~~ Anyway, just enjoy this long holiday & wait for my ang pow to come! Haha~~ Anyway, already got some plans for next week, hope the weather will be good & hope that my leg recovers by then. I miss blading!!!

Haha~~ I've got something new for CNY today! A new hp!!! Got a brown K800i which I think is nice, yet someone said the colour looks like shit. Sob sob... :(

Now still waiting for my steamboat reunion dinner to start. Heez~~ Already feeling quite hungry now. Haha~~

Valentine's Day?

Today is V'day. Happy V'day!! So how did you spend your V'day? With your special someone? Heez~~ Today was a really busy day for me at work, got lots of things to clear up as I was on MC yesterday. Nevertheless, it was a sweet day coz I've received 3 "presents" today! Haha~~ A hearty big breakfast, a pack of choco & sweets and balloon sculpture. Love them manz, thanks to all my dearies!!! =)

Today I'm still limping. Sigh... Dunno when did I pull my muscle. Now gotta take a break from gym. Hope it heals soon!

Backtrack backtrack....

Yesterday I was on MC, I was basically sleeping at home the entire afternoon, partly coz my com simply refused to start up & kept producing a beeping sound. Argghh... So irritated by it. I need a new com soon! Anyway, met up with Glad & GF for dinner in the evening before Glad & I went to catch the show, 'Dreamgirls'. It's a great show. Think I'm going to get the soundtrack soon! Haha~~ Yah, this is also my 1st date with Glad, pre-V'day date somemore. Haha~~ Glad was so happy when I jio her to watch with me. Dunno why. Haha~~ But can say that LPP & Glad & I are pretty close now. Probably coz we 3 are equally crazy gals? Hhaa~~

Thanks LLT for jio-ing me to the charity gala screening for the movie, 'Protege',on Monday. Saw alot of stars! I suppose the brightest stars for the nite were Louis Koo & Daniel Wu. They really look great! It was a really nice & enjoyable evening spent dining & attending the screening.

Now I look forward to CNY!! Holiday, food, goodies & ang pow!!! =)

Tiring but enjoyable weekend!

I suppose all my friends know that my weekend's always packed with activities. Haha~~Coz I love it this way! This week was no exception and was started off on Friday, where my colls & I went to Miramar Hotel for chinese ala carte buffet. The food wasn't fantastic, but the company was great! We had lots of fun chatting & joking and of course catching up with our dearest ex-coll, JS! Went for a midnite show, 'Little Children', after the dinner and thanks to LPP for acconmpanying me. Heez~~

Saturday was started off with our usual Body Combat class. Yes, Sat's class conducted by Sue is 1 which I always look forward to coz it's so fun! But my right leg felt a little weird that day. I could not exert too much pressure on my heels, otherwise my thigh will hurt. So I basically skipped all the right leg jumps & kicks that day. Haha~~ Met up with dear Noorul for chem tuition after that. Sorry gal to make u walk so much. Yes! I have a bad sense of direction and will get disorientated easily. Haha~~ And yah, don't keep going around telling people that I wanna bring u to Hotel 81, can? I got reputation one, ok? Haha~~
Had a nice dinner at Village meeting new friends after that. Haha~~ A funny session as well. Not as awkward as I've thought. Heez~~ Post dinner was another midnite movie again. But I was so tired that I almost slept through the movie. Oopz!

Yes, so tired & my right leg still hurts. So I've decided to take a break from gym on Sunday. In the end I met up with WK for shopping and I managed to get myself a dress! Haha~~ So happy!!! But I'm still short of some bottoms for CNY. Hmm...time is running out, CNY's coming!!!
