Finally my presentation was over on last Wednesday! Can say that I'm quite pleased with my performance & boss was pleased too. Heez....
Since Wednesday, I've been sleeping alot. Well, for Wed, Thu & Fri nights I really sleep early & slept like a log since I've been quite deprived of sleep for the past week. Haha....so by Saturday, I was energetic enough to go for 4 rounds on the track plus bodypump then bodycombat & my day was rounded up with Cheer Chen's concert. Simple & nice though I wasn't very familiar with the songs. Heez...
Though my muscles are still aching, I still attended 2 gym classes today. Now my muscles are aching even more! I met up with my bunch of JC gfs after that to celebrate SM's belated birthday & Sze's upcoming birthday. Really had lots of fun chatting, eating, taking pics, shopping. It's been quite some time since the group of us met up. Really enjoyed the evening! Hope we can do it more often!! Yeah! A few plans coming up. KTV, cycling/blading, chill-outs. Haha...can't wait for the activities already!!! :)
Tiring weekend! But I've really enjoyed it. Tmr half day of work then shopping!!! Woohoo!!! =)

I've not MIA!
Due to my busy schedule, especially with work, I've not been updating my blog. Sigh...Still got some backdated posts, hope to finish them by next week. Heez...
But what's more pressing now is to finish my presentation slides for next Wednesday's Chemistry Meeting. I'm glad that I've created some of my powerpoint slides already, though it's just the presentation title, outline and acknowledgement. Yah, the main body of the presentation has not been done. Oh shit! Yah, I'll need to churn down the stack of journal articles before I can start working on my slides. Sigh...Seems like still a long be way to go but I'm now running short of time! Other than presentation, work is killing me too. So much to do yet so little time. I've been lunching in & doing OT lately, but things just didn't work out the way I wish, dunno if I'll be able to meet the deadlines. Haiz....
I'M SO STRESSED NOW! AND ALL MY PIMPLES ARE POPPING OUT!
I NEED TO DE-STRESS!!!

Outing to Night Safari
This weekend has been fun! Yesterday I went to the Night Safari! Heez... Why do I sound so excited? Erhh...quite embarrassed to say that yesterday was my very 1st time stepping in Singapore Night Safari since it opens 13 years ago. Oh no!! I'm such a lousy Singaporean!
It's really a fun experience seeing the animals in the dark Some were even free to roam about and we got to come in real close contact with them. Some of the animals we saw include monkeys, binturongs, babirusa, spotted mouse deer, calves, tigers, lions, leopards, owls, hippos, rhinoceros, sloth bear, striped hyena, giraffe, bongo, tapir, elephants, gaur, squirrels, bats, porcupines, otters & lots more.
Hoping on & off the tram was fun too. It's so amazing to see the animals walking around freely while we are on board the tram. I wonder what will happen if they just jump up onto the tram? Heez... But the tram ride would have bee even better without the inconsiderate tourists who just kept flashing away their cameras at the animals when they had been told many times to switch off their flash. Don't they understand that this could blind the animals? So bad of them! Maybe they don't understand English!
Anyway, glad that our trip wasn't spoilt too much by them. Yah, luckily we alighted & walked in a different direction as them. Haha... We were quite entertained by the animal show too. Very good show presenters, who reall managed to keep the crowd excited throughout the show. It's funny to know that someone is terrified of snakes! Ahaha....wanna to volunteer (or SABOTAGE??) him for that particular segment, but I was afraid that I'll be thrown into the crocodile pool after that so I didn't. Haha....
Yeah!! Shall go to the zoo some day soon! I wanna see the penguins! Heez....

Surprise Call
Today I've received a call again. All I can say is SURPRISED! Yah, totally unexpected that they'll call me up for round 2 as I thought I've floppd the 1st round. Anyway, I'll be good to be more prepared this time round. But what to prepare? WK just told me something scary. There might be a 4th & 5th round. Sounds quite crazy. Though I still have quite a no. of days of leave left, I think I'll run out of excuse to take leave real soon! How??

Left-handed-right-handed ME!
Actually this entry came in abit late, it should be written on the 13th of last month. But why that day? Because it is the International Left-handers day which is my day then! Heez... Well, I only remember this day when I came across an article on left-handers in today's 'mypaper'. Haha....
To be precise, I was born a left-hander but is no longer a "pure left-hander" as I write with my right hand from young. Well, this doesn't occur naturally. I was being "forced" to write with my right hand by my mum when I was small. Yah, as she is a right hander and has to teach me the writing strokes by holding on to my right hand, over time, I've developed the habit of writing with my right hand. But other than writing, attempts to do other stuff with my right hand simply fail. Haha... Yah, that includes colouring, drawing, painting. Although these tasks seem quite similar to writing, I can never do a good job with my right hand. However, when it comes back to writing, my left hand seems more crippled now. Well, I guess it's because after years of writing with my right hand, I'm now better at it than my master hand does. Haha...
I do agree with the article in 'mypaper'. The society is made more for the right-handers, even basic things like scissors, I'll have difficulty using them with my left hand. Yah, I used to be so clumsy with scissors such that I've cut my own clothes by accident for quite a number of times (which made my mum so angry. wahaha) Maybe because there isn't a "left-handed role model" for me, my chopstick skills sucks for my left hand & even more so for my right hand. I have difficulty using the normal knife as well & I'm often being laughed at by others for holding my chopsticks in such a weird manner and for taking years to cut simple things with the knife. Left-handers being the rare ones in the society are sometimes being seen as disabled. Sigh... Discrimination!
I'm also bad at racket games as my serves are just bad lo. Maybe it's me who's bad at the games rather than because of my hand. wahaha...
But well, after almost 25 years of being a left-hander, I'm already used to the inconveniences. But there's also advantages like I can easily switch to another hand to do things or I can use chopsticks to eat with 1 hand & write with the other. Ahaha...Something to feel happy about being a left hander is that it is believed that we are smarter & more creative compared to right-handers. Erhh...though I don't think I'm that smart lah, maybe it's my mum's fault for turning me into a left-right-handed hybrid. If not I might be smarter lo... Sigh..
